Immune Support grew from a need in my own home for a more versatile way to incorporate seasonal herbs into my children’s daily routines. When traditional elderberry syrup wasn’t always something they wanted to take, I turned to the electuary; an age-old herbal preparation that blends powdered botanicals into honey.
The result is a preparation that feels true to the apothecary: our own raw honey combined with heat-treated elderberry, camu camu, and warming spices in a creamy, spoonable blend. It can be taken directly or easily incorporated into everyday foods and warm drinks, offering families a practical way to bring traditional herbal preparations into modern daily life.
Immune Support was created for families looking for a simple, versatile way to incorporate traditional herbal preparations into their seasonal wellness routines. Its creamy, honey-based format is especially useful for children and adults who may not always enjoy syrups or teas, offering an easy option straight from the spoon or mixed into favorite foods and warm drinks. For ages 1 and up.
Enjoy 1 teaspoon daily as part of your seasonal wellness routine. Take it straight from the spoon, spread onto toast, swirl into yogurt or oatmeal, or stir into warm; not boiling water. Stir well before use, as the botanical ingredients may naturally settle over time.

A different way to do elderberry.
Unlike traditional elderberry syrups, our Immune Support Electuary is thick, smooth, concentrated, and honey-based, made for families who want seasonal immune support without another bottle of syrup in the fridge.
We blend raw honey harvested from our own apiary with elderberry, camu camu, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom to create a rich, spoonable herbal blend that can become part of your everyday routine.
Take a teaspoon straight from the jar, swirl it into warm tea, spoon it over yogurt or oatmeal, spread it on toast, or find your family's favorite way to enjoy it. Because an electuary contains far less water than a traditional syrup, it offers a more shelf-stable format while giving you much more versatility in how you use it.
And this isn't a product we can simply make year-round.
Every jar begins with honey from our own bees. We make a limited amount following our seasonal honey flow, and when that harvest has been used, this batch is finished. Depending on the next honey flow, it may be the following year before we're able to make it again.
It's seasonal wellness in the truest sense; grown, gathered, blended and offered when the season provides it.
Ingredient List
Organic Raw Honey (Apis mellifera) is more than the sweetener in this formula; it is the traditional medium that transforms powdered botanicals into an electuary. Honey naturally contains sugars alongside small amounts of organic acids, enzymes, minerals, and a diverse range of phenolic compounds, with its exact composition reflecting the flowers and landscape visited by the bees. Its thick texture helps suspend the botanicals while creating a preparation that can be enjoyed directly from the spoon or incorporated into foods and warm beverages. Our raw honey comes from our own apiary and is harvested in limited seasonal quantities, making each batch of Immune Support Electuary Blend intimately connected to the bees, plants, and season from which it came.
Organic Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) has a long history of traditional use for seasonal wellness and is naturally rich in anthocyanins and other antioxidant polyphenols. Research has explored elderberry preparations for their potential role in supporting the body during seasonal respiratory challenges. We intentionally use heat-treated organic elderberry powder rather than raw elderberries, as proper heat processing significantly reduces naturally occurring cyanogenic glycosides and makes elderberry appropriate for consumption. Blended with raw honey and warming botanicals, it forms the heart of our Immune Support Electuary Blend.
Organic Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) is an aromatic spice treasured across South Asian and Middle Eastern culinary and herbal traditions. Its fragrant seeds contain volatile compounds including 1,8-cineole and α-terpinyl acetate, which contribute to cardamom’s distinctive aroma and have been studied for antioxidant and other biological activities. Traditionally enjoyed after meals and incorporated into warming preparations, cardamom brings both botanical complexity and a bright, gently warming flavor to the electuary. Here, organic cardamom helps balance the richness of honey and elderberry while complementing ginger, cinnamon, and turmeric.
Organic Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is one of the most extensively studied spices in modern botanical research. Its characteristic golden color comes from curcuminoids—including curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and bisdemethoxycurcumin—which have been widely investigated for antioxidant activity and their interactions with pathways involved in the body’s normal inflammatory response. Turmeric also has centuries of culinary and traditional use throughout South Asia, where it is valued as both a food and botanical. In this electuary, organic turmeric adds earthy warmth and botanical depth.
Organic Camu Camu (Myrciaria dubia) is a small Amazonian fruit particularly notable for its naturally high vitamin C content. The fruit also provides an array of polyphenols and other phytonutrients that contribute to its antioxidant profile. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient with established roles in normal immune function and protection of cells from oxidative stress, making camu camu a natural fit for a food-based seasonal wellness formula. Organic camu camu brings a pleasantly tart brightness to the electuary while complementing the deeper flavors of elderberry, honey, and warming spices.
Organic Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) is a treasured culinary spice with a long history of use in traditional food and herbal preparations. Its aromatic bark naturally contains polyphenols and volatile compounds, including cinnamaldehyde, that have been extensively investigated for antioxidant and metabolic activity. Unlike the sharper profile of cassia cinnamon, Ceylon cinnamon offers a softer, more nuanced warmth that pairs naturally with honey and fruit. In our Immune Support Electuary Blend, organic Ceylon cinnamon rounds out the elderberry while adding the familiar warmth that makes the formula enjoyable enough to become part of an everyday ritual.
Organic Ginger (Zingiber officinale) has been used as both food and botanical medicine across cultures for centuries and remains one of the most widely studied culinary herbs today. Its rhizome contains characteristic compounds including gingerols and shogaols, which have been investigated for antioxidant activity and their influence on normal inflammatory and digestive processes. Traditionally associated with warming and digestive preparations, ginger provides a lively counterpoint to the sweetness of honey. Organic ginger gives this electuary a gentle warming finish while complementing elderberry, turmeric, cinnamon, and cardamom.
Storage
Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not necessary and may cause the honey to harden. As a natural, small-batch product, color, consistency, and texture may vary or change over time. Gentle crystallization is a normal characteristic of raw honey, and the botanical ingredients may naturally settle. Simply stir well before use to reincorporate.
Why is my honey creamy?
Immune Support is made with intentionally crystallized and whipped raw honey, a traditional process that creates its smooth, creamy, spreadable texture while preserving the honey’s natural character. Because we never overheat our honey, subtle variations in color and texture and some natural settling are a normal part of each batch.
