Founder & Herbalist
Meet The Founder
I’m Mina—a mother of two, herbalist, gardener, and formulator. My relationship with plants began in my family’s kitchen, rooted in the folk remedies of my Afghan heritage, where herbs were used with intention, care, and deep respect for the body.
Years later, after spinal cord surgery and the health challenges that followed, I began searching for deeper healing beyond what conventional treatments offered. Motherhood further shaped that journey. As I navigated postpartum shifts, recurring health struggles, and a desire to care for my children in the most natural way possible, I realized my body—and my family—needed more than temporary relief.
That was when I turned fully to plants. Herbs became my greatest teachers, helping me restore balance, build resilience, and nurture both myself and my children.
What began as a personal practice grew into Boteh—a space dedicated to honoring plants, carrying forward tradition, and supporting everyday wellness. Through Boteh, I share herbal education and carefully crafted formulations designed to empower others to reconnect with the wisdom of nature and the healing art of herbal medicine.
Our Philosophy
Wellness Beyond Quick Fixes
We believe wellness is a journey, not a quick fix. True health comes from understanding your body, learning from nature, and making intentional choices that support balance over time. Our role is to guide, educate, and empower you to connect with the wisdom of plants and your own innate resilience.
